Select a pristine vase or container, as dirty vessels or water may harbor bacteria that shorten the lifespan of your flowers. It's best to keep your arrangements in clean, cold water. We advise changing the water every other day, or daily if possible, and cleaning the vase each time you change the water. When refreshing the water, trim the stems at an angle and add a sprinkle of flower food. Remove any leaves that will be submerged, as decaying foliage introduces bacteria and reduces the arrangement's longevity. Position flowers away from direct sunlight and heat appliances/sources. Lastly, remove any wilted or spent petals to maintain a fresh appearance.
